About Corinne and Winslow
Corinne Schippert and Winslow Martin are a husband and wife team who, with their depth of experience, are trusted by New England's top planners to artfully photograph celebrations of any kind and size. Their candid photographs are infused with vitality and creativity. Portraits are done in a warm, relaxed manner putting even the most camera shy at ease. Schippert+Martin's images reflect the full richness of your day with beauty, humor and sensitivity.
Corinne first fell in love with photography while studying at Tufts University. She spent the next seven years in New York City working as a photo assistant and photo editor before returning to Boston in 1995 to open her own studio. Since then, she has photographed over 400 weddings as well as other private events and family portraits. Corinne was selected "Boston's Best Wedding Photographer" by Boston Magazine and The Improper Bostonian.
Drawn to personal rites of passage, Corinne sees her photography as both evidence and affirmation of their lasting power. Her images are infused with spirit and emotion. She derives inspiration from getting to know her clients and from her own love of family and friends. Her work with the panoramic camera is especially magical, it's wide frame teeming with life.
Winslow was raised in Zurich and London by artistic parents who passed on their passion for art, travel and photography. He began his photographic career as a photojournalist over 20 years ago. As Chief Staff Photographer at The Community Newspaper Company, he developed a strong knowledge of local politics, culture and business. He is the recipient of many awards, including The New England Press Association's Photographer of the Year. In 2003 he committed himself fulltime to his freelance photography.
Winslow brings his experience of photographing hundreds of weddings and events to each assignment. He blends easily into any situation, unobtrusively capturing real moments and emotions. His work is distinguished by a strong use of composition and light, often giving his pictures an ethereal, almost cinematic quality. In his practice of true documentary photography, Winslow creates visual stories with lasting impact.
Winslow and Corinne were married in 1999 and live in Arlington, Massachusetts with their son Eliot. Having worked under their respective names, they rebranded in 2011 as Schippert+Martin to capture the true spirit of their partnership.
